Nollywood produces over 2,000 films annually, yet our storytellers often lack access to the infrastructure their counterparts in Hollywood or Bollywood take for granted. Aspiring directors shoot on smartphones because they cannot afford camera rentals. Writers with brilliant scripts have no place to workshop them. Actors train in makeshift spaces without proper guidance.
The result? Potential is wasted. Stories go untold. And African cinema remains constrained not by talent, which we have in abundance, but by opportunity.
